Traveling To France

By Plane

The quickest way to travel to France is by air. Budget airlines including EasyJet and Ryain Air serve many regional airports including Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon, Limoges, Deauville and many more.

Travel time: 1 hour (average)

Ryanair Baggage & Check in Times

By Ferry

Travel by sea is excellent if you want a break to stretch your legs during the journey, or if you want to take a car. In the summer the weather is usually calm so you can have a comfortable crossing.

Approximate cost: £25 (foot passenger) / £80 (with a car)
Travel time: 1 hour - 1.5 hours

By Train

There are several options available. Eurostar provides a passenger service which you can join either in London at Waterloo or at Ashford in Kent - you can travel from London to Paris in around 2.5 hours. Eurotunnel provides a vehicle service from Folkestone to Calais - the fastest method of crossing the channel.
